Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response: One day I saw a homeless man sitting outside a gas station while I was riding with my parents. He wasn’t asking for anything, just staring down at the ground, and it stuck with me. I remember feeling a mix of sadness and guilt because I knew I had so much compared to him. It made me think about how easily someone’s life can change. The moment stayed with me and made me more aware of people who are struggling around me.

Summary: In class we worked in writable and finished vocab

Reflection: I feel bad when I see homeless people, and wonder what brought them to that point.
