Write about the best gift you have received.

Prompt Response: The best gift I ever received was my first baseball bat. Without it, I might never have gotten into baseball. Baseball has become such a part of me that I have no idea what my life would be like if I never played. I am grateful to my parents for making me try it, because I would never have known how much I like it.

Summary: In class we picked an unpopular opinion and started writing an argumentative paragraph.

Reflection: Sometimes what you want as a gift isn't what you need, and something seemingly insignificant can be very important down the line.
