 Prompt Response: A time when I was judged unfairly was when my fifth-grade teachers accused me of something I didn't do, but they still got mad at me. They cornered me after school, demanding that I confess to something I didn't do. I felt awful because they were yelling at me even though I did nothing. This made me really sad for the rest of the week. I was happy when COVID ended 5th grade early, so I didn't have to see the teachers anymore.

Reflection: I think being judged unfairly is one of the worst experiences that can happen, because you are being affected by something you can't control.

 Prompt Response: A few days ago, I was in a car crash. It wasn't my fault, but if I hadn't been paying attention, it would have been much worse. I was driving down Shallowford Road when a lady turned in front of me. I slammed on my brakes, but couldn't stop in time and ended up hitting her car. If I hadn't been paying attention and hadn't slowed, there could have been serious injury to both me and her. Summary: In class, we began working in writable. Reflection: Situations like this can be very scary, and I'm glad that I made it out uninjured.

 One meaningful place in my life is my grandparents' house in North Carolina. It is a cabin on a creek in the Smoky Mountains. I have been going there my whole life, and it is a place that relaxes me and holds great importance for me. My great-grandpa built it a long time ago, and it has been passed down in my family for many years. I have had many holidays and celebrations there, and it holds a meaningful place in my life and that of my family. Summary: Today in class, we learned about the Navajo creation myth and how Begochiddy came to the different worlds and helped the Navajo. Reflection: I learned how the Navajo believed the earth was created, and I also got my picture taken for my student ID.
