Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

Prompt Response: If I were learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage, I’d want to know how people celebrate special days like Día de los Muertos or Cinco de Mayo, and what makes the celebrations different in each country. I’d be curious about the food, like tacos or tamales, and how people make them in different places. I’d also want to learn about the music, like salsa or mariachi, and what it means to the people. Finally, I’d be interested in how family and community are really important in these cultures.

Summary: In class, we learned about a thesis statement and wrote overrated things.

Reflection: I like Hispanic/Latino food a lot, so I would be excited to try them all for the first time again.
