After reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem "Constantly Risking Absurdity," which explores the poet's daring craft, write about your most absurd personal experience. Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.

Prompt Response: One moment that felt extremely bold or foolish was when I decided to join the football team. The only football experience I had was PE and Madden. I joined because I thought it would be fun, but I had no idea what to do. Luckily, I had some friends to help me learn and get better. I think it turned out for the best because I learned and grew, even though I quit this year.

Summary: Today, we analyzed a poem about how poets are like acrobats, and watched a guy walk across the Grand Canyon.

Reflection: I think trying something new is a good experience, and being bold can be really good for you.
