Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

One time I felt connected to nature was when I was sitting in the creek in front of my grandparents' house. I sat there as the water rushed past me, but I felt strangely calm. The water was cold, but it didn't seem to affect me because I had become used to it after sitting there for a few minutes. Some fish and other animals swam past me and seemed unbothered, which I thought was strange because they usually freak out if I'm near them. I just felt really at peace with the world and one with nature.

Summary: Today in class, we learned about the difference between myth, religion, and urban legend, as well as native american culture.

Reflection: I learned that native americans are just like us now, and that they can build casinos on tribal land even if it is banned in the state.
